Kelsey is an absolute dream to work with! From the florals and design down to the finest detail of your day-of timeline Kelsey thinks of it all. Kelsey’s incredible eye and knack for organization make her the perfect planner who puts thought and attention into ensuring a couple’s vision is perfectly executed and they can sit back and fully take in their day. Not only is Kelsey a gifted coordinator but she is also a kind, intentional, and fun friend and when you and your spouse are in the slog of managing a wedding budget, vendor communications, and decision fatigue from all the details she is there as a counselor, confidant, burden bearer, and partner. I am so incredibly thankful that Kelsey of Anchored Events was a part of my wedding team! She was so helpful from the start - helping me book main vendors and establishing a good design style! She even came up with some super fun design ideas that made our wedding decor feel personal to my groom and me. I had a lot of pre-wedding anxiety, and Kelsey was so kind to listen, help me calm down, and assure me that everything was going to be wonderful - and it was!! On the day of, she was super organized, took full control of setting all the decorations + florals + place settings, and it was absolutely stunning! She has an amazing eye for design, and I was confident in trusting her to make the space just what I wanted. We give our highest recommendation to hire Kelsey as your wedding planner or day of coordinator! First, wedding planning can be a stressful process but Kelsey made it very smooth and easy. We appreciated how responsive she was to our many questions and took the lead checking out venues and picking up items since we lived out of town. Kelsey stood up for us when dealing with difficult vendors and spared us the drama. It felt like she had our back and was with us from the beginning of the process all the way through the end. Kelsey was instrumental in the planning phase but also handled the day of coordination with the utmost professionalism and kept everything on time and everyone organized. Second, she is extremely organized! Many vendors told us she was one of the most organized planners they got to work with, and the venue found her so great to work with that they even added her as a preferred vendor, even without her asking for it! Kelsey circulated a PDF timetable of events well before the wedding to have all vendors (as well as the officiant and wedding parties) be on the same page, which many really appreciated. The clear communication ensured the wedding day ran smoothly. Third, Kelsey is so kind, personable, and thoughtful. We felt like she genuinely cared for the success of our wedding, she was genuinely excited for our union, and talking with her on the phone always left us feeling more relieved and confident about the planning than before a call with her. Kelsey can take a vision or help you create a vision and turn it into a reality. She’s goes above and beyond and we were blessed to have such a wonderful experience with Kelsey!
